Why hello there! Well its been a while hasn't it! For those of you that have forgotten this blog exists, I'm Adam!! Nice to meet you! I'll skip the pleasantries and dive right into it! A couple of people have asked what's happened to this blog and where its gone. The simple answer is I've been away. Now your probably thinking 'Yay, he's back for the long haul!' Erm, nope! This is gig one of two shows I'm photographing while I'm back and then I will be disappearing again for several months!! Always keep them wanting more!!
Ok to be really super honest, this show actually happened last weekend. I've just been to busy to write this. And obviously when I say to busy, I mean hungover! So this was Andover Rocks. Its a mini music festival that happened at several different venues all over Andover. I just did the Rockhouse bit on the Saturday. It was cool because I got to shoot some new bands and then some bands I've worked with loads and then got to see everybody I haven't seen in ages!
At this point you're probably expecting me to run through each band and tell you my thoughts on them. Well you'd be wrong for two reasons. Number one: That would be really boring to read. Number two: I cant actually remember everyone that was there! It was over a week ago and I have the memory of a fish! I'll mention a couple of highlights for me personally just to make this blog seem slightly more legit!
One Last Thrill. This was the last day of their tour and if you've ever read this blog before then you'll know I've worked with them loads. I mean literally for years at this point! I love seeing them play but also they are super awsome people to hang out with. If you ever see them then give them a point!
INDARKLIGHT. Again another band I've worked with several times over the past few year and I love seeing them live. They also provided the music for the new Rockhouse video I recently made. If you haven't seen that yet its on the Rockhouse website. I will post it at some point! I'm very behind on posting stuff at the moment!
Hounds. Now this is only the second time I've photographed this band but I think they have massive potential. They are definitely one of the most exciting bands to come out of Andover for a while. I'm very much looking forward to photographing them again in the future.
So there are my 30 second reviews! Pretty incredible I know! There are a shit load of pictures below for you to go through now so I wont take up any more of your lunch break with me rambling on. Remember to like, comment, share, blah blah blah you know the rest. I'll be doing one more blog before I go away for a while so check back because it features a band that I am super excited about. And I'm not going to tell you. you'll just have to come back next week and find out!!! Peace!
